Invention and Technology News – Privacy Policy
This site is operated by InventHelp. Your privacy on the Internet is very important to us. We at InventHelp want to make your online experience satisfying and safe. We respect your privacy and work diligently to ensure that any personally identifiable information you have submitted to us remains secure and confidential.
Because we gather certain types of information about our users, you should fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the capture and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather and how we use it.
What Information InventHelp Collects
InventHelp gathers through aggregated tracking information, derived mainly by tallying page views throughout our site. This information allows us to better tailor our content to visitors' needs. We do not use this data to identify individual users. We do not gather any personally identifiable information from our users on this site.
Usage Tracking
InventHelp tracks user traffic patterns throughout our site. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users. We do break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type and operating system by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every user's browser).
We sometimes track and catalog the search terms that visitors use to find our site (or terms entered into our Search function), but this tracking is not associated with individual users. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our site users prefer based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual users read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continue to build a better Web site for you.
Cookies
InventHelp may place a text file called a "cookie" in the browser files of your computer. We use cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above). The cookie itself does not contain personal information although it will enable us to relate your use of our site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided to us. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.
You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. If you've set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies, you will receive the warning message with each cookie. You do not need to have cookies turned on to use our site. However, you do need cookies to enable sorting of articles.
Use of Information
InventHelp uses tracking information to determine which areas of our site users visit most frequently, and we create aggregate reports on user demographics and traffic patterns to tailor our site to visitors' needs. We do not record users' personally identifiable information on this site.
Security
InventHelp operates secure data networks protected by industry-standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary, and only authorized individuals have access to the information transmitted on this site.
Our Web site and database may operate through the use of a third party hosting service, but any such service provider is similarly required to maintain secure data networks and have physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in place to ensure the security and confidentiality of any information transmitted via those networks.
External Links
InventHelp occasionally publishes links to third party Web sites that we feel may be of interest to our users. However, any such external links should not be considered an endorsement or sponsorship of those sites, and InventHelp claims no responsibility for the content, information, products or services offered by them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies for any third party sites you access via our links.
