The Wave Coffee Table, from Because We Can Design Studio and Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories , is an experience in itself. Encased in the top of the table are motion
activated LED lights. The closer an object is to the tiny LED bulbs, the stronger the light becomes. Not only does the strength of the light
intensify, it also travels across the table surface with the movement of the object. Even when no one is around, the table is alive with subtle
twinkling of the LED lights. At 56” x 26” and 18” inches high, The Wave can’t be ignored.
If you’re wondering what effect all these twinkling lights have on the environment, don’t be concerned. In fact, The Wave Coffee Table is actually
quite environmentally friendly. When active, it uses less energy than a standard light bulb. When there’s no movement to serve as a catalyst for the
lights, The Wave uses very little energy. This ultra-cool looking coffee table is made of Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) sustainable high-quality,
zero-formaldehyde, American-made Maple plywood. In addition, it has been finished with an Ultra Low VOC water-based Lacquer. The Wave Coffee Table’s
