The more proficient we become at multi-tasking, the greater expectations we have for our gadgets to do the same. It's rare that the small electronics that we carry with us have only one function. For example, our cell phone is a PDA, camera, music player and a device that can access the Internet. And now, with the release of TriSpecs, the traditional Bluetooth headset will be a thing of the past thanks to its trilateral functionality.

TriSpecs may look like ordinary, designer sun glasses, but they actually serve three important functions. They are stylish eyewear that protects your eyes from the glare of the sun, an acoustically enhanced Bluetooth headset to use with your cell phone and high quality stereo headphones for use with your portable music player – all incorporated into one practical device. If you don't normally wear corrective lenses, you know how frustrating it can be to use your standard Bluetooth while also trying to wear sunglasses. They really aren't meant to be worn with one another, so you have to sacrifice one or the other. Or maybe you just don't like the look or feel of a Bluetooth headset wrapped around your ear. TriSpecs relieves you from having to choose between critical accessories, and it does so in a technologically advanced manner.

TriSpecs utilizes STEP Labs' noise elimination technology to distinguish between the voice of the person that you are talking to and distracting background noises. With two uni-directional microphones built into each temple and behind each hinge of the glasses, you can experience enhanced listening whether talking on a cell phone or using your portable music player. All your controls – volume, once touch voice dial, and music controls – are discreetly hidden on the stems of the glasses. The right earbud activates the TriSpecs and retracts behind your ear when not in use. And don't forget that TriSpecs lets you toss those wires connecting you to your portable music player. Now you have freedom of movement when listening to your favorite tunes. The lenses are made of spherical polycarbonate with high-impact resistance and UV protection to 400 nm. They are also RX compatible for those who wear prescription lenses.

TriSpecs are available in black, white, silver, blue, red and gold and can be purchased from the TriSpecs Store for $199.99 to $224.99.
