There seems to be an endless choice when it comes to mobile phones. However, when you are an uber style conscious girl – or guy – an off-the-shelf
mobile phone just isn't going to do. If you find the market's current choices of cell phones are meant only for the likes of plebeians, Versace has another option for you.
Versace recently announced the Versace Unique mobile phone in partnership with ModeLabs and LG. The Versace
brand has touched just about every aspect of a fashionistas lifestyle including fashion, accessories, home décor as well as a luxury hotel. It makes
sense that a Versace designed mobile phone would be another must-have possession for those who lust after covert couture. Gian Giacomo Ferraris, Chief
Executive Officer of Versace Group said: "We are excited about Versace Unique. Our team has worked well with our partners at ModeLabs to manufacture a
very innovative product which perfectly blends luxury materials, craftsmanship and the advanced technologies of LG. As we move forward in the
development of our business, we are particularly happy to be able to strengthen the offer of luxury accessories that complement our core fashion
products in line with Versace's DNA."
The hand assembled Versace Unique boasts of an 18K yellow gold inlay, 316L grade stainless steel inlay and is cradled in an array of choices of
vibrantly colored, fine handcrafted leather adorned with the signature Versace Medusa head logo. The screen of the Versace Unique is comprised of a
sapphire crystal which in itself is notable. Not only is this large, single piece unprecedented in a consumer product, the screen is scratch proof and
adds perfect precision to the touch phone interface. With LG in the background of the Versace name, users will benefit from 3G network, email, media
player, Dolby Mobile surround sound and 5-megapixel flash camera.
While France-based ModeLabs isn't a name that rolls off the tongue of cell phone geeks, they are known for creating a mobile phone and related
accessories niche among luxury brands such as Christian Dior and Hummer. "We are very proud to have been chosen by Versace to bring their new range of
luxury mobile phones to life. Crafted from the finest materials and built to the uncompromising standards of the Versace Atelier, they will combine the
latest handset technologies and incomparable Italian craftsmanship," says Stéphane Bohbot, ModeLabs Group CEO. He added, "With this agreement ModeLabs
manufacture once again demonstrates its ability to respond to the expectations of the most prestigious brands in the most demanding fields."
With a rumored price tag in the thousands, Versace Unique will be offered exclusively through Versace flagship stores and fine jewelers. For more
