If you want to know how the iPhone 5 will look, when it will be released, and how much it will cost, keep looking. The media hype over newly redesigned “iPhone 5,” the release of the iPhone 4S, the media’s disappointment, and the sales success of the recent iPhone proves that you should take whatever the media says with a grain of salt. Despite nobody having real answers to the aforementioned questions, there’s no shame in making some predicitions based on what insiders have said…

Large 4 inch Screen

According to Susquehanna Financial analyst Chris Caso, the iPhone will have a 4 inch screen, which shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering that many of its competitors dwarf the iPhone in screen real estate. Steve Jobs’s focus on simplicity and usefulness is admirable in an age when electronics manufacturers try to one up one another with useless features. At the same time, the iPhone is going to have a bigger screen to stay on even terms with competitors’ features, even if a bigger screen isn’t how Apple plan’s to compete against other smartphones.

June Release Date

Chris Caso also asserted that the iPhone 5 will have a June release date.

Never Before Seen Battery

All the batteries that you see in today’s mobile electronics are rectangular and flat. Apple’s public patent applications show that it’s working on a layered battery, which would allow it to put more stuff inside the phone, making it more powerful and perhaps giving it an innovative form factor that can’t be copied by competitors.

Slimmer Design

According to Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty, the new iPhone phone will be slim and will be released sometime near the month of June, validating Chris Caso’s prediction.

T-Mobile Support

T-Mobile uses a very unique spectrum called AWS and is the reason why the iPhone still hasn’t come to the wireless carrier, according to Neville Ray or T-Mobile. The iPhone 5 will have support for AWS and T-Mobile may finally add the prized Apple product to its lineup, letting it hold on to many subscribers who would otherwise leave.

A larger screen, June release date, innovative battery, slimmer design, and support for T-Mobile are all rumors from authority sources that include the International Business Times, CBS News, and Washington Post. Whether or not the aforementioned rumors come to fruition, enjoy the smartphone options you have now and don’t worry about what may or may not happen. Chances are that Apple will come out with another hit product.
